and only when dealing with men at arms in full harness do I find a significant improvement from going much above Capons bow, though I will sometimes use the lighter (and more attractive) Cuman bows 62/64 lbs for variety. I would recommend a middling bow, rather than the heaviest for shooting game. If I loose straight away, then I find that I hit 8 or 9 out of ten shots against rabbits or other game (Roe excepted as they are quite skittish).
